About
![]() I have lived in Dorset for a number years and in the South West of England all my life. I have been provided with many photographic opportunities to capture dramatic coastlines and countryside. I aim to make use of the dramatic light found at the beginning and end of the day and I hope I bring a sense of atmosphere to landscapes I am photographing. "I still believe that the best landscape photography is done at the pre-processing stage when you fire the shutter and that applies as much too digital as it does to film" Ian Cameron – transientlight.co.uk My aim is to present the landscape in an interesting way that is sympathetic to the location so photographing Dorset means the nature of the region, the rocky Jurassic coastlines and rolling hills feature predominantly in my images If you wish like to contact me or have any questions about the site or images please just ask, see the contact page My iamges are also reproduced, some as as limited editions on Fine Art papers by Redcliffe Imaging Living in rural Dorset I sometimes have problems receiving email. If you don’t receive a reply from me within 48 hrs please be patient You can buy direct from redbubble.com ![]() "Landscape photography can be immensely frustrating at times - a long journey to a chosen location can end in disappointment as the promised light never materialises. However, the frustrations pale into insignificance beside the rewards which landscape photography can offer. When the conditions come together and the scene through the viewfinder is just as we anticipated it would be; when we have only the natural elements as company, then that one special moment will be cherished long after the memories of the many disappointments have faded away Ian Flindt - flindtphotography.com Funds raised from the sales at O W P & Redbubble are donated to The Grace Secondary School - via Richard Budd @ Lionheart Graphics - also Ducks & Drakes Cancer Trust [see main menu tab] |
